FAQ

  • Absolutely, fun knows no boundaries!

Airsoft in particular has seen a fantastic surge of female players joining the sport in recent years!

We welcome players of any gender, age, experience, fitness level, etc.

At the end of the day, we all just want to have fun and the more people playing, the better!

  • There are many factors that play into the perceived impact level of Paintballs and Airsoft BB's.

Generally speaking, Paintballs tend to hurt more. Paintballs are much larger and heavier than Airsoft BB's, this means that they transfer more energy on impact, and conserve that energy over longer distances.

Airsoft BB's will still sting a little on impact, however at normal shooting distances the felt impact is likened to being flicked by someone.

  • Airsoft!

Paintball markers are typically accurate up to the 20-30 meter mark. You can still hit targets at up to 50 meters, however accuracy is greatly diminished after about 30 meters.

Airsoft on the other hand is very accurate right up to the 40-50 meter mark. You can reach out and hit some targets up to about 70 meters, however environmental factors such as wind greatly impact your accuracy.

In addition to the above, Airsoft replicas have a component called a "hop-up", this imparts backspin on the BB as it is fired, causing the BB to fly in a flat line towards the target, instead of an arc like a Paintball marker.

  • Currently we have enough equipment to allow for up to 50 Paintball players, or 15 Airsoft players on the field at any one time.

Airsoft is new to Paintball Central, as such we have limited rental equipment, however, we are increasing our equipment offerings in the hopes of being able to cater to 50 concurrent players.

  • If you are looking to play Tuesday-Saturday, yes bookings are essential.

No bookings are required for Sunday games, due to our weekly Open Day's.

Every Sunday we run Paintball games from 9am-12pm, and Airsoft games from 12pm-3pm. No bookings are required to join, and you can simply arrive whenever you like!

Rental equipment is limited, for more information, or to reserve rental equipment, check out our Sunday Open Day page.

  • We recommend a minimum age of 10 for Airsoft and Paintball players. This is to ensure that our safety equipment will fit correctly.

All players under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is present during the entire session.
